My name is Karin Ostmann. I was born and raised in Switzerland. My first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel , Ch. Homerbrent Quotation, is behind many of my Cavaliers King Charles Spaniels today. My humble beginnings in breeding and showing Cavalier King Charles Spaniel started in 1983.

In 1991, I moved to Nebraska, USA, to marry my husband Barry.

Our wonderful daughter, Michelle is now 14 years old and loves to help me with the dogs.

I have bred and owned 19 CKCSC Champions, over 98 AKC Champions, and 5 International Champions.

Some of my fondest memories are, the 2 National Specialties in 2000 and 2001, when James went Winners Dog and Reserve Best in Show at the age of 9 years and 10 years.

I have been blessed with 2 of the most wonderful Cavalier King Charles Spaniels ,

Ch. Sheeba Special Edition ROM (James)

(64 Champions)

and

Ch. Telvara Top-Kopy (Tucker ROM) (38 Champions),

who have a great influence on my breeding program.

With their help we have established a consistent line of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that carry our kennel name.

It is of the most importance to me, to breed only Cavaliers that are healthy and come from good lines of healthy and long living dogs with outstanding temperaments.

We have a yearly heart clinic with a board certified cardiologist and a yearly eye clinic with a board certified ophthalmologist at our house. Both of these clinics are open to any Cavalier King Charles Spaniel owner or breeder that would like to know more about the health of their Cavaliers.
